The drive icon you select will be displayed as the default icon for your CD under My Computer. Normally, your CD will appear similar to the sample one shown here, but by using the Drive Icon option, you can specify your own custom icon.

Setting up your Drive Icon

From within CD Start-It, click on the Assign a Drive Icon button shown below:

This will open a dialog that allows you to assign a custom Drive Icon.

Use the Browse button to browse for an icon you would like to use for your Drive Icon. When you are done, you can push Save to save your Drive Icon and go back to the main CD Start-It window, Cancel to go back to the main CD Start-It window without using a Drive Icon, or you can push Clear to delete the current Drive Icon (if one was set).

To remove a Drive Icon at a later time from your project, from the main CD Start-It window push Assign a Drive Icon > Clear > Save.
